Abstract: A study was conducted to find the effect of salinity on proximate composition of Pangasianodon hypophthalmus reared in Inland saline water, results of the study indicates that, the proximate composition of the P. hypophthalmus varied significantly (P<0.05) among the various treatment groups, showing declining trend in the moisture and ash content with the increase in the salinity and increase in the protein, fat content with the raise in the salinity.
